A story segment is one AI-generated passage, typically 200 to 400 words depending on your prompt. Your monthly allowance is 5 on Starter, 50 on Creator, or unlimited on Studio.
Yes. Fanon is an AI fan-fiction and character content creation platform. Define a universe with your own notes and descriptions, then create stories and characters within it.
Creator and Studio support private universes. Creator includes draft saving and version history, and Studio includes everything in Creator.
Creator and Studio include deep lore-lock AI mode and timeline consistency checks. Use lore-lock with your defined universe lore when creating fan-fiction and character content.
Published stories remain live and accessible to readers regardless of plan. If you downgrade below the universe limit, choose which universes stay active. Others are archived and can be restored on upgrade.
Each collaborator needs a Fanon account, but not a paid plan. Studio owners can invite any Fanon user, including Starter users, as co-creators on a shared universe.
You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. Starter is free with no time limit.
